Widodo confirms two Indonesian COVID-19 cases

Jakarta (People’s Daily) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo confirmed two local COVID-19 cases on Monday. Reports say the two patients had contact with the Japanese patient who had been confirmed after returning from Indonesia to Japan.

"The two patients confirmed in Indonesia had contact the previous Japanese tourist," Widodo said. He confirmed that the patients are a 64-year-old woman and her 31-year-old daughter.

Widodo did not disclose the exact location of the two patients, but confirmed that they had been hospitalized.
