<p><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);"></span></p><p>Barbara Woodward, British Ambassador to China, recorded a video to show the British people's support for China against COVID-19. <br/></p><p>“It has been a privilege for me to remain in Beijing, and to witness first-hand the resilience and fortitude of the Chinese people,” the British Ambassador said. “One thing we can say with absolute conviction is that pathogens have no nationality; disease knows no borders; and the novel coronavirus is a global threat to public health requiring a global solution.”</p><p>The UK Government has delivered two large shipments of essential medical supplies to Wuhan, including thousands of sterile gowns, facemasks, surgical gloves and other vital equipment to support the Wuhan health authorities and frontline healthcare workers in combating the novel coronavirus.</p><p>The UK-China relationship is longstanding and resilient.
