<p>Twenty-eight more patients recovered from COVID-19 in Shanghai on Friday, and six of them promised to donate plasma for the treatment of novel coronavirus infection.</p><p>Initial results have showed the effectiveness of using cured patient’s plasma as an antibody for COVID-19 treatment, said Zhang Dingyu, head of Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, a designated hospital for admiting confirmed cases. </p><p>Scientists are racing to develop drugs and vaccines against the novel coronavirus, but so far there is no cure.</p><p><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);">(Video edited by Zhao Wenyu)</span></p>
