With the opening of the CPPCC, China's top political advisory body, media coverage is also underway. But this year's interviews are different from face-to-face ones in previous years. With the COVID-19 pandemic, to curb the spread of the virus, a majority of interviews during the two sessions will be carried out through videoconferencing and written format.
Internet video interviewing rooms have been set up at various guesthouses of the CPPCC so that members can interact with reporters in a virtual meeting room at the same time, thus earning the name "two sessions in cloud". Tencent Meeting, Dingding, Wechat or Zoom can all work to help reporters conduct online interviews with CPPCC members.
