Without regard to the seriousness of the pandemic situtaion in Hong Kong, opposition forces recently made an illegal appeal for voters to casting ballots in a primary election.
With the unemployment rate of Hong Kong at 6.2 percent, a 15-year high, the Legislative Council has repeatedly seen oppositionists engage in all sorts of harrassment, seeking to disrupt normal voting procedures. As a result, many bills concerning the livelihoods of Hong Kong residents have been left pending in review. Disguised as claims of regaining "freedom" and "democracy," what the oppositionists are aiming for is to paralyze the SAR government and challenge the Basic Law and the national security legislation.
Hong Kong's future is in your hands. Between a Hong Kong living in peace and a Hong Kong shrouded by darkness, every vote counts.
