China's online retail boom in numbers
China has remained the world's largest online retail market for the 13th consecutive year, with digital consumption between 2021 and 2025 exceeding 23.8 trillion yuan ($3.39 trillion).
China's online retail sales jumped 8.6 percent year on year to 15.97 trillion yuan in 2025. Within that, online retail sales of physical goods rose 5.2 percent to 13.09 trillion yuan, while live-streaming transaction value increased by 11.3 percent.

China's water infrastructure system in numbers
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), China invested a total of 5.68 trillion yuan (about $810 billion) in water conservancy projects.
Since 2022, annual investment in these projects has exceeded 1 trillion yuan for four consecutive years.
As a result, China has built the world's largest and most comprehensive water infrastructure system, benefiting more people than any other country.
Notably, rural tap water coverage has reached an impressive 96 percent.
Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan Period (2026-2030), China aims to accelerate the development of a modern water network.
